Zahn has recovered the ancient blade, Blight Talon, but he also knows Bleak Frost is about to be attacked. What does he do? He knows the Great Horn Peak sits above the settlement, so it makes sense to rush back to Bleak Frost and then move onto the mountain. (Clock 4/6)

Zahn reaches Bleak Frost but he is too late! The Raptor Spirit is already there! Some of the settlers are trying to drive it off with spears, but they are obviously terrified. The Spirit swoops down and grabs someone from the ground – it’s the village leader, Chandra. She cannot escape the claws due to her crippling wound. It is carrying her away!

Zahn leaps forwards and brandishes the Blight Talon. He screams a challenge to the Raptor Spirit and threatens to gut it and eat it’s innards! In shock at the new arrival, Chandra is dropped, falling onto the rooftops of a nearby stable.

Pushing his advantage, Zahn steps forwards and tries to drive off the Raptor with more threats of violence. However the spirit bird realises he cannot reach him in the sky and mocks the Scourge.Tries to drive off the Raptor spirit, but it does not leave. It mocks him and tells him to look at the faces of the settlers, they have no faith in him! (-2 Spirit)

Zahn flees from Bleak Frost, and runs into the mountains, shook to his soul by the apparent rejection of him by the villagers.

Zahn tries to gather himself and focus his courage and magic on the Raptor Spirit. He looks back at the settlement, to see what is transpiring and to his horror, he sees the Raptor Spirit flying away, once again with Chandra in its claws!

In desperation, Zahn calls to the Ravens. He is more than aware that they have already tasked him to find the mercenary Kayu, but he needs them now. As he chants, the sky fills with darkness as birds appear from the snow clouds and sit all around him. Old One Eye and sits on his shoulder, resting his head against Zahn’s. His soul feels solace, as the Ravens reveal Chandra is alive, and they show a route up the Peak. It’s time to climb and seek vengeance!
